BEFORE YOU CALL FOR SERVICE!
To avoid needless service and undue inconvenience
for you, check the following points before you call for
service.
| 1.) Instructions:
|
It is essential that you carefully read the supplied
instructions. This will ensure that any of the problems
you encounter are not caused by misreading or incorrectly
following the directions. Note:
A Charge will be made for a service man's visit
if it found that a machine is functioning correctly.
This charge applies during the warranty period.
|
| 2.) Power: |
Make sure the power cord or plug has not been
damaged. Is power available at the power
point? Check by connecting another appliance,
such as a lamp or other products that you know that
are working, to the power point. |
| 3.) Overheating: |
Some appliances have built in over-temperature
cut out switches for protection. Ensure that you
let the machine cool down before depressing the
reset switch. |
If it is found that service is required after
checking these points, call your nearest approved service
dealer listed overleaf BEFORE posting or forwarding an
appliance. *F.E.D. will not be responsible
for service by repairers unless approved by the company.
